Jofre Oliveras (Girona, Spain, 1989) is an artist and researcher working at the intersection of art, ecology and technology. His projects — from biomimetic solar energy and interspecies archaeology to electronic sculpture — investigate how living systems and technical systems can co-evolve. This research extends into public space through murals and site-specific interventions worldwide, and into large-format productions he leads as an artistic director (founder of Persona Archive; artistic director of the Underline Public Art Festival in Amman, Beirut and Barcelona).
